Terms & Conditions


Dear member/participant, by accessing the Get LOUD! Stay LOUD! forum, its social media pages, YouTube channel and other resources (together called herein as “Forum”), you agree to accept and comply with this disclaimer, Forum Terms and conditions and our Confidentiality Policy. “Forum” shall mean any of its owners, officers, directors, employees and professional consultants as well as any person providing their support or professional services to the Forum. “You” shall mean you as the participant of the Forum, your heirs, executors, assignees, attorneys or legal guardians. 

You further agree as follows: 

 1.By participating as a member in this Forum you understand that our group practice, maintenance sessions, blog posts and any information posted or published by the Forum are NOT, and shall not be, considered direct "speech therapy" or professional services. 

 2.Any payments or expenses that you pay hereto are NOT reimbursable under any healthcare program or plan. 

 3.By participating in the Forum, you acknowledge, and the Forum is relying on your acknowledgement, that you have ALREADY been seen, assessed and treated by a licensed professional for your Parkinson's related communication disorder. 

4.This Forum is intended to provide you support and assistance and to encourage adherence to those skills already taught by your primary Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech-Language Therapist.

5.Nothing contained in the Forum or its programs, instructions and guides shall be deemed as a professional treatment and the Forum is not responsible for any issues, problems, regressions or concerns arising out of or in relation to your use of the Forum.

 6.The Forum hereby disclaims to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of your domicile jurisdiction, and you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waive all and any claims that you now have or may have in the future to the Forum relating to your participation in the Forum and use of its content. You further agree that where such waiver will be found unenforceable, the maximum extent of liabilities of the Forum shall not exceed the total
amount of fees paid by you to the Forum during any given 12 months period. 

7.Under no circumstances shall the Forum be responsible for any indirect or consequential damages caused to you or any third party as a result of your participation in the Forum. 

8.If at ANY time you feel that you have regressed or are experiencing a significant change in your communication status, please immediately contact your treating Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Language Therapist for a re-evaluation.
